CURRENT RESTRICTIONS + EXEMPTIONS

Outdoor Photography

Outdoor photography is a permitted industry for those fully vaccinated as of 22 October 2021.

Indoor Photography

Despite 10 visitors being allowed in your home as of 22 October 2021, indoor shoots are not permitted until approximately 5 November 2021 (and will again be only for those fully vaccinated).

I will need to ask for proof that you are fully vaccinated prior to our shoot. I did not make these rules and am simply following guidelines, so please show kindness and understanding.
 

GENERAL SAFE PRACTICES

Ensure physical distancing

All other business activity other than the shoot itself (providing gallery etc.) will be conducted remotely.

Maintain 1.5m distance as much as possible.

Face masks

When the rules state that a face mask must be worn, a new or clean face mask will be worn by the photographer at all times.

Under the rules, people having their photograph taken are allowed to remove their mask.

Practice good hygiene

I will carry hand sanitiser to every photoshoot, and will make it available to clients.

Where possible, all equipment used will be cleaned before and between every shoot.

Clients are not permitted to handle any of the photography equipment.

I will no longer be able to assist in taking photos using your own devices such as camera/phone.

Health

I am fully vaccinated against Covid19, as are eligible members of my household.

If I am feeling unwell, I will self isolate until test results are back and I have recovered - shoots will be rescheduled.  

If I am confirmed to have Covid, I will isolate for a minimum of 14 days – shoots will be rescheduled.

Record keeping

Keeping all records of photographer job movements/client details.

I get a Covid test at the earliest sign of cold/flu like symptoms. This also includes when my immediate family members (such as my children) show any symptoms.

All parties commit to rescheduling if unwell.

In the event I become unwell within 14 days of a session, I will advise clients and keep them updated of my results.

If am advised that I have been in contact with a person with Covid, the relevant authorities will be notified and contact details of clients will be provided. I will of course then close the business until it is declared safe to re-open by the relevant authorities.

Avoid interactions in enclosed spaces

Apart from limited indoor shoots, the majority of my work is performed outdoors.

Where photography is being conducted inside at a client’s home, the photographer must be counted as one of the visitors allowed at their home that day.

If you or any of the people I am photographing are feeling unwell and showing any flu-like symptoms, please let me know as soon as possible and I will be happy to reschedule your shoot at no charge.
